Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed through swivvyseat.com. By placing an order you agree to them. Where a section only applies to consumers (people buying outside their trade or business), we say so.

Products and prices

We describe the Swivvy Office and its options as accurately as we can. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the real fabric. All prices are in euros and include 21% Dutch VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay. Obvious mistakes in prices or descriptions do not bind us.

Delivery time

We ship your order within 6–8 weeks of ordering. The current delivery time is shown on the site and at checkout. If we expect to ship later, we tell you as soon as we know. If your order hasn’t shipped within the time we gave you, you may cancel it and we refund the full amount, including shipping, within 14 days.

Your order and the agreement

The agreement is made when you complete checkout and receive our order confirmation by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a product turns out to be unavailable; in that case we refund anything you paid within 14 days. As a consumer you can also cancel your order before it ships, by emailing us; we then refund the full amount, including shipping, within 14 days.

Payment

You pay through our checkout, provided by Shopify, with one of the payment methods shown there, such as iDEAL, a credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment is taken when you order. If you are a consumer, Dutch law lets you choose to pay no more than half of the price in advance. If you would like to do that, email us before you order and we’ll arrange it.

Delivery

We deliver within the Netherlands only. Delivery details, times and costs are on our Shipping & returns page. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to you.

Right of withdrawal (consumers)

As a consumer you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. How this works, and the model withdrawal form, are on our Shipping & returns page. This right does not apply to business purchases.

Warranty and conformity

Your Swivvy Office must meet the agreement and be fit for normal use. On top of your legal rights we give a two-year warranty; see our Warranty page. Please report defects within two months of discovering them.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limitation. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Dutch and EU law.

Complaints

If something isn’t right, email info@swivvyseat.com. We reply within 14 days. If we can’t solve it together, a consumer can take the dispute to the competent court.

Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms and to every order. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
